Dunbogan and the spectacular Camden Head region of the Camden Haven are becoming increasingly popular, as not only a holiday destination but as an idyllic place to live. Here you can enjoy the best of the peaceful coastal living with the beautiful waterways of the Camden Haven River, Pilot Beach, Wash House beach with its popular rock pool areas, as well as a private swimming hole popular to locals. The scenery is topped off by the stunning Point Perpendicular in the Kattang Nature Reserve, that provides spectacular cliff top scenery great for  sightseeing, walking, exploring, fishing and whale watching.

The Dunbogan Boat Shed is also a popular weekend destination well known for its great coffee and an abundance of fish always ready for fish feeding from the jetty. For the more active you can hire boats, kayaks and paddle boards to immerse yourself in the beautiful waterways. Alternatively you can grab a hamburger and some fish and chips from the Dunbogan Store and sit on the jetty opposite watching the dolphins, fish and boating activity.

With the Beach to Beach walkway almost complete linking North Haven, Laurieton to Dunbogan,  this beautiful fishing village is also becoming more accessible for walking, running and bike riding. Sunsets are truly spectacular from this side of the Camden Haven River, or in fact any time of the day is a great time to visit the beautiful, untouched village of Dunbogan on the New South Wales Mid North Coast – a true gem of the Camden Haven.
